Christmas has come to Venice — or at least to Granby Street, Loseby Lane and Patchings Art Centre. From 1st December 2026, all three Merchant of Venice locations are serving a dedicated 3-course Italian Christmas menu at £36.95 per person, and tables are already being booked for the festive season.
What's on the Christmas Menu
The menu keeps to a classic three-course format, with a choice of dishes at every stage:
- Starters (choose one): Crostini d’Anatra (toasted crostini, slow-cooked duck, cranberry sauce and goat cheese), Gamberoni Aglio e Peperoncino (king prawns, garlic, chilli and toasted ciabatta), or Burrata Pugliese (V) with roasted cherry tomatoes and truffle oil.
- Mains (choose one): Bistecca di Ribeye al Tartufo (grilled ribeye with a Barolo red wine reduction, truffle butter available for £2), Salmone al Forno allo Zafferano (oven-baked salmon with saffron mash), Pollo alla Cesare Gratinato (chicken breast, creamy Caesar-style sauce, Parmesan crust), or Risotto al Funghi Selvatici e Tartufo (V), a wild mushroom and truffle risotto.
- Dessert: a choice of Traditional Christmas Pudding or Budino al Toffee, a soft date sponge in warm toffee sauce.

The Christmas menu runs from 1st December at Granby Street, Loseby Lane and Patchings Art Centre, so wherever in Leicester or Nottingham you are booking from, the same festive menu is on offer. It suits everything from a small couple’s dinner to a full work Christmas party.
